The official place to stay at Rann Utsav is Rann Utsav – The Tent City at Dhordo, set right on the edge of the White Rann of Kutch. Unlike hotels and resorts in Bhuj — roughly 80 km away — the Tent City keeps you within easy reach of the white salt desert, the cultural stage and the sunrise and sunset points.
The Tent City offers a range of Swiss-style tents to suit different budgets — from Non-AC tents to AC Deluxe and Premium tents — each with an attached bathroom, running hot and cold water, and access to dining, cultural programmes and adventure activities. This is the only on-site stay at Dhordo; the “Rann of Kutch hotels” and resorts listed elsewhere are in Bhuj or nearby towns, not at the Rann itself.
